KERSA Provides Rewards and Appreciation for Internship Students, a Commitment to Produce Young Entrepreneurs and Millennial Farmers

Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, Karawang – The Karawang Entrepreneur Sejahtera Foundation (KERSA) has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of the younger generation through internship programs in the agricultural and entrepreneurship sectors. As a form of appreciation for the dedication of the interns who have completed the first phase of activities at the KERSA melon cultivation garden, the foundation held a release and viewing event (nobar) on Friday, June 5 2026.The activity which took place at Studio 1 Cinema XXI Ramayana Karawang was attended by interns from various universities, including students from Buana Perjuangan University Karawang (UBP) and Singaperbangsa University Karawang (Unsika), as well as the Foundation's management. KERSA.Chairman of the Karawang Entrepreneur Sejahtera Foundation, Muhammad Nur Miroji, said that this activity was a form of appreciation to the students who had given their time, energy and thoughts while participating in the internship program at KERSA."We would like to thank all the intern participants. Without the enthusiasm and contribution of our friends, KERSA would not have developed as it is now. This event is a form of our appreciation and support for the young generation who are willing to learn, struggle and grow together in building the MSME ecosystem and agriculture," he said.

The event was warm and full of intimacy. Apart from the interns, this activity was also attended by the management of the plantation and KERSA Farm, namely Inayah, Hiban, and Iqbal. Also present was the KERSA information technology team, namely Ara and Mita, students from the UBP Faculty of Computer Science who are currently developing the KERSA MSME digital platform and marketplace.Also present at the activity was the administration team led by Lutfi, as well as the KERSA legal advocacy team represented by St. Juniater Hutapea, S.H., M.M.According to Miroji, the internship program run by KERSA not only provides field work experience, but also builds an entrepreneurial mindset from an early age in students."We want to instill the mindset that entrepreneurship can start while still in college. Through this internship program, students not only learn theory, but are also directly involved in the practice of agricultural cultivation, business management, marketing, and the development of digital technology," he explained.Currently KERSA manages the melon cultivation program as part of developing food security and community economic empowerment. This program is also a practical laboratory for students to understand the world of modern agricultural-based businesses.In the future, KERSA is committed to continuing to open spaces for collaboration with various agricultural universities and vocational schools in order to produce a young generation who are productive, innovative, and ready to become regional economic drivers.Miroji hopes that programs like this can produce more millennial farmers and young entrepreneurs who are able to answer the challenges of regeneration in the agricultural sector."The majority of farmers are now entering old age. Therefore, we need regeneration.
