Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, Karawang — In an effort to support the millennial farmer development program, the Department of Agriculture, Food Security and Fisheries (DPKPP) of Karawang Regency will dispatch four selected young people from several farmer groups in Karawang Regency to take part in training at the West Java Province Food Crops and Horticulture Training Center.The training is scheduled to take place from 18 to 22 May 2026 at the UPTD of the West Java Province Food Crops and Horticulture Training Center located on Jalan Pasir Angin, Neglasari, Bojongpicung District, Cianjur Regency.In this program, three participants will take part in the "Climate Smart Farming for Farmers" training, while one other participant will take part in the "Agribusiness Entrepreneurship for Farmers" training.This program is a form of the government's seriousness in encouraging the birth of a generation of young farmers who are more modern, innovative, and able to face the challenges of the agricultural sector in the future, especially in the fields of horticulture and agribusiness.One of the training participants expressed his gratitude for Young people are starting to be given the opportunity to represent Karawang in agricultural training and development activities at the provincial level.
