According to him, limited capital means that plantations do not have an automatic electricity backup system or alternative energy sources such as solar panels that can be used when there is a disruption in electricity supply."Farming has risks that must be faced, both weather risks, pests, and technical problems such as power outages. This incident is a valuable lesson for us to improve preparedness and risk management in the future," he said.The management hopes that in the future information regarding power outages can be conveyed early to horticultural farmers who use electricity-based irrigation and nutrition systems, so that anticipatory steps can be taken. to minimize the impact that occurs.Despite experiencing losses, the KERSA MSME Foundation remains committed to developing the agricultural sector as a means of community empowerment and education for MSME players.
