In his message, the Regional Secretary emphasized that ASN integrity is not only measured by presence, but also consistency in providing services to the public. "ASN integrity is not only about presence, but how to consistently provide the best service to the community," emphasized the Regional Secretary in front of the employees. However, the instructions that require the physical presence of all employees at the Karawang Asri location have given rise to confusion among ASN. The reason is, this policy is considered to violate working day provisions, where Fridays have been allocated as WFH time to reduce mobility and efficiency of office operations.Many parties question the consistency of the leadership's policy regarding the implementation of this rule. Employees are worried that if they comply with the WFH schedule they will be deemed to have violated the Regional Secretary's instructions regarding social service activities.
In the midst of this confusion, the Regional Secretary continues to urge ASNs to maintain physical fitness. Regular sports activities are recommended to be carried out, both in the office environment and in their respective residences, to support service productivity.Apart from touching on the environmental service agenda, the Regional Secretary also explained the regional cultural preservation agenda entitled the Sunda Tatar Carnival. This agenda is planned to be held on Saturday evening (9/5/2026) starting at 19.00 WIB with a route starting from the Horizon University area.The traditional arts parade involving representatives from 27 districts and cities throughout West Java is also in the spotlight. The Regional Secretary requires all ASN to actively participate in making the cultural agenda a success at the weekend.Until this news was published, there had been no technical explanation or official revision from the Karawang Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) regarding the conflict between the WFH schedule and the obligation to go to the field this Friday.
