At this location, they visited the seed production facility belonging to PT East West Seed Indonesia (known as Cap Panah Merah products) which is one of the leading horticultural seed producers in Indonesia.The visit to the East West Seed Indonesia facility aims to broaden the farmers' insight regarding superior seed varieties. Apart from that, they are also exploring the potential for strategic partnerships in providing high quality seeds which are much needed for the development of commercial scale hydroponic cultivation in Karawang.The KERSA Foundation hopes that this step can have a positive impact on food security and the welfare of local farmers.
