Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, The Karawang Indah Residential Area suddenly became the center of attention on Tuesday night (5/05/2026). A sea of people, dominated by white clothes, was seen crowding the area until Wednesday morning. Not without reason, thousands of pilgrims from Karawang to Cikarang gathered to unite the inner frequency in Majlis Dzikir and the reading of Manaqib Syekh Abdul Qadir Jaelani which was initiated by Jama'ah Al Khidmah Karawang City together with the Ukhsafi Copler Community. This spiritual ritual began shortly after the Maghrib call to prayer sounded. The atmosphere which was originally noisy due to the hustle and bustle of the city changed drastically to become serene when the istighosah verses and manaqib chants began to be sung. This activity is not just a routine, but an effort to maintain the spiritual traditions of the archipelago which places the example of ulama as a compass for life amidst the onslaught of modernity.H. Mukholis, Chairman of Al Khidmah Karawang City, emphasized that this assembly has been running istikamah for the last two years. For him, consistency is the key in building people's spiritual awareness. He believes that amidst the increasingly complex dynamics of life, humans need a "spiritual pause" to clear their hearts and minds again through collective remembrance."We want this assembly to be an oasis. This is not just a ceremonial movement that comes and goes, but a spiritual movement whose continuity must be maintained so that society continues to have a strong hold on values," said H. Mukholis in the midst of the solemnity of the event.
Support for this broadcast also came from various figures, one of which was the Chair of the Karawang Islamic Center (ICK), H. Acep Kusnadi. Present with his wife, he expressed his admiration for the extraordinary enthusiasm of the congregation. H. Acep even gave a signal that similar activities could immediately be "upgraded" by being held at the Al Jihad Karawang Mosque, so that the resonance of his preaching could be felt more widely by urban communities. However, there was an important message tucked away in this spiritual excitement. The General Chairperson of the Central Al Khidmah Jama'ah, H. Mohammad Uripan, gave a "love note" to the Karawang City Government. He hopes that Karawang's identity as a "Rice City" will not only stop at food prosperity, but also prosperity of faith through the active involvement of state officials in science assemblies. The leader's physical presence in the midst of the remembrance congregation is considered a form of real support in realizing Karawang's religious vision. He emphasized that regional development would be much more blessed if the physical and spiritual aspects went hand in hand without partition."If the government and the people sit together in one assembly of dhikr, then the dream of building a society that is harmonious and full of blessings is no longer just a dream. This is a real step towards a Karawang that is baldatun thayyibatun wa rabbun ghafur," concluded Mohammad Uripan in an optimistic tone.
