Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, The leadership structure of the Regional Leadership of the West Java Islamic Student Federation (PD FMI) was officially changed through the organization's highest decision-making forum which took place solemnly in Bandung. In this strategic forum, Febry Ramadhan was legally elected and appointed as General Chair of PD FMI West Java for the latest period. This appointment marks the start of a total consolidation phase as well as a new direction for the movement of Islamic student organizations at the provincial level.The synergy of regional level management is guaranteed to run solidly with a core structural composition that represents the strength of cadres in West Java. In running the organization, Febry Ramadhan was officially accompanied by Asep Kanar Arafat, S.Ag., who was entrusted as General Secretary, and Restu Permana who was entrusted to hold the position of General Treasurer. The formation of three new leaders is fully committed to immediately accelerating the work program and carrying out progressive management updates. The election of Febry Ramadhan to the provincial level was considered the right tactical step by the various district/city branch leaders (PC) present, considering his mature track record in the domestic realm. Before being trusted to lead the West Java level, he was the former General Chair of FMI Karawang who was known to be consistent in overseeing public transparency, information openness and social issues. It is believed that his background as a law student who is active in advocacy movements, as well as a digital technopreneur, will bring a new, more modern style to the methods of current student activist movements.
After the official determination, the elected General Chair of PD FMI West Java, Febry Ramadhan, emphasized his commitment to taking the organization to a more progressive step. "West Java FMI must return to its reputation as a critical, objective and solution social control in overseeing public policy at the provincial level. Armed with the experience of advocacy for movements originating from the regions, we are ready to transform FMI into a forum that is adaptive to the development of digital technology without in the slightest mortgaging the idealism of the struggle of the people and nation," emphasized Febry in his official statement. In line with this, the General Secretary of PD FMI West Java, Asep Kanar Arafat, S.Ag., added that the management's short-term focus will be directly directed at administrative structuring, formal cadre formation data collection, and expanding tactical networks between regions.
