Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, The price of non-subsidized fuel oil (BBM) from PT Pertamina (Persero) has officially undergone adjustments which will take effect starting Monday (4/5/2026). This price increase mainly targets non-subsidized diesel fuel (Dex Series) and Pertamax Turbo, while other general fuel products are maintained. This Pertamina fuel price adjustment applies to the Jabodetabek area and a number of regions in Indonesia. Despite the increase, Pertamina is holding back prices for several types of fuel that are most widely consumed by the public so as not to burden daily purchasing power. This list of price adjustments includes Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) which has increased to IDR 19,900 per liter from the previous IDR 19,400 per liter in April. This product experienced an increase of IDR 500 per liter, in line with adjustments to the economic value in the global market.Meanwhile, the diesel fuel products included in the Dex Series also experienced a significant price increase. The price of Dexlite (CN 51) has jumped to IDR 26,000 per liter from the previous price of IDR 23,600 per liter in April 2026.

The highest increase occurred in Pertamina Dex (CN 53) products which rose to IDR 27,900 per liter. This figure has increased by IDR 4,000 per liter compared to last month's price which was pegged at IDR 23,900 per liter, reflecting the high cost of importing oil components. In the midst of this surge, PT Pertamina (Persero) is still holding the price of Pertamax (RON 92) at the level of IDR 12,300 per liter. This policy also applies to Pertamax Green (RON 95) products, which remain at a price of IDR 12,900 per liter. The prices of these two products have been held since March 2026, precisely before the geopolitical escalation due to the conflict between the United States and Israel and Iran. The decision to maintain this price was taken to maintain the stability of domestic fuel consumption.Pertamina's latest fuel price adjustment is expected to affect logistics operational costs, especially for vehicles that use non-subsidized diesel fuel. The public is advised to continue monitoring fuel price updates through Pertamina's official channels.
