This step was taken after the organization assessed that the presence of entertainment venues under the auspices of the HW Group not only violated regional licensing regulations, but was also strongly suspected of triggering moral and health degradation in the area. HMI Karawang Branch Action Coordinator, Kelvin Hudqof Akbar, highlighted worrying data from the Karawang AIDS Control Commission (KPA) which recorded more than 4,000 HIV/AIDS cases throughout the 2020-2025 period. This trend even continues with the addition of 188 new cases in just the period from January to March 2026. Kelvin also expressed suspicion that there were powerful parties providing protection behind TNM's operations. He urged law enforcement officials and regional governments to be transparent regarding the reasons behind the location still being open.
