Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, KARAWANG – The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Karawang, through the Arts, Culture and Sports Sector, officially launched the PKS Karawang Badminton Community in the activity of Playing Together (Mabar) Badminton with the Bekasi Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) at GOR Madani, Klari, Karawang, Sunday (7/6/2026).The activity, which was attended by 48 participants, became the momentum for the birth of the PKS Karawang Badminton Community. A total of 27 participants came from Karawang and 21 participants from Bekasi who attended to strengthen relationships and share experiences in managing sports communities.The event was hosted by Suharno as Chair of the PKS Karawang Badminton Community. A warm and friendly atmosphere was felt from the start of the activity. In his speech, the Head of the Arts, Culture and Sports Division of the DPD PKS Karawang, Dede Arif Rahman, welcomed the PKS Bekasi group with the rhyme:"Finches, birds of paradise,Flying to the clouds while singing.Welcome the team from Bekasi,From Karawang ready to serve."The rhyme was greeted with applause from the participants and reflected the spirit of brotherhood that was the spirit of the activity.Dede Arif Rahman said that sport not only functions to maintain health and fitness, but is also an effective means of building togetherness and expanding social interaction in society.
"Through badminton, we not only exercise together, but also strengthen ukhuwah, strengthen relationships, and build closer relationships with the community," he said.Representing the Bekasi Regency PKS group, Ust. Muhammad Nurhadi expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome given by PKS Karawang. He also welcomed the formation of the PKS Karawang Badminton Community and hoped that the community could develop into an active forum in building fitness, ukhuwah and service to the community.The activity continued with prayer led by Ust. Adhlan Dalimin Nursidiq, asked for a smooth event and blessings for all participants and the newly formed community.After the ceremonial session, participants took part in a friendly badminton match which took place full of enthusiasm and sportsmanship. A total of 10 matches were held involving all participants from Karawang and Bekasi. Apart from competing, this activity was also a forum for sharing experiences regarding sports community management. The Bekasi Regency PKS Badminton Community Team, which has been active since 2018, provided various input regarding organizational governance, organizing routine activities, as well as strategies for maintaining the continuity of the community so that it remains active and growing.The activity closed with a friendly gathering and a meal together which further strengthened relationships between participants. Through the launch of this community, PKS Karawang hopes that badminton can become a means of encouraging healthy lifestyles, strengthening relationships and expanding positive interactions between PKS cadres and the people of Karawang.(Editor)
