Responding to the challenge of the environmental crisis, UBP Karawang specifically raised the theme "Community Empowerment in Sustainable Environmentally Based Waste Management" in the 2026 edition of KKN. Students are provided with collaborative strategies to educate residents and local governments in optimizing the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). This theme was chosen as a form of the campus' real contribution in overcoming waste problems at the grassroots level. All work programs designed in this KKN have been synergized with the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in each assignment area. This synergy is carried out to ensure that student actions are in line with regional development priorities. With this approach, it is hoped that the innovations brought by students can provide concrete, measurable solutions in supporting cleanliness and environmental sustainability targets in target villages.Through this comprehensive training, LPPM UBP Karawang hopes that all students can understand social ethics and master field work mechanisms well. The presence of thousands of students is projected to be a catalyst for quality regional development, as well as providing a real positive impact on the independence of citizens in managing a healthy and sustainable living environment.
