Assistance in the form of a set of computers was given to 15 elementary schools (SD) as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.This strategic step was taken as an effort to support improving the quality of education and strengthening human resources (HR) at the elementary level. With this new facility, it is hoped that the recipient schools will be better prepared to face the challenges of increasingly rapid technological developments.The process of handing over aid was carried out symbolically at the Karawang BAPPERIDA Office on Tuesday, May 5 2026. In this event, the Head of the Peruri Corporate Communication & TJSL Bureau, Evan Septantyo, handed over the aid directly to the regional government represented by Nanang Fakhrurazi.The Karawang Regency Government welcomed this initiative because it was in line with with a regional vision of expanding access to digital learning facilities. The presence of computers in elementary schools is seen as a crucial instrument for introducing technological literacy from an early age to students. Head of Corporate Secretary Peruri, Adi Sunardi, emphasized that providing adequate learning facilities is the main key in producing a competitive generation. Peruri is committed to continuing to be an active development partner for the advancement of education in Karawang.
According to Adi, equal distribution of educational facilities is very important so that every school has the same opportunity to produce adaptive human resources. This is the foundation for creating a local workforce that has high competitiveness in the future.In line with this, the Head of the Economic and Natural Resources Division of BAPPERIDA Karawang, Nanang Fakhrurazi, called this collaboration a synergy that is right on target. He believes that this assistance supports regional development priorities, especially regarding increasing the Human Development Index (HDI)."This synergy is the right collaboration to improve the quality of education and community welfare in Karawang Regency," said Nanang in his statement. The regional government hopes that Peruri's steps can be followed by other private sectors to jointly build educational infrastructure.A total of 15 elementary schools selected to receive this assistance are spread across various points, starting from SDN Mulyasejati I, II, and IV, to SDN Cibalongsari IV and SDN Anggadita III. Apart from that, other schools such as SDN Puserjaya, SDN Sukaharja II and III, and SDN Jatiwangi II are also beneficiaries.The list of schools is completed by SDN Jatibaru I, SDN Kalangsurya II, SDN Cintaasih III, and SDN Karangjaya II which now have new computer equipment to support teaching and learning activities. This program is expected to be a turning point for the digital transformation of elementary schools in Karawang Regency.
