Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, The central government has officially accelerated the integration of birth services and BPJS Health membership into the national public service digital portal called INAku. Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), Rini Widyantini, revealed that this breakthrough aims to unite health facilities which have so far been fragmented between ministries and institutions. Through the Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) approach, every baby born in Indonesia can now be guaranteed to immediately receive health insurance without having to go through complicated procedures. The main key to this major transformation is the use of the Population Identification Number (NIK) as a validated single key and real-time data exchange between relevant agencies. With this new system, the membership management process, which previously had to go through eleven long stages, has now been drastically reduced to only four main stages. This innovation allows every newborn baby in a health facility to be immediately registered and active as a National Health Insurance (JKN) participant automatically, providing certainty of medical protection from the first day of birth.

Minister Rini emphasized that the presence of the INAku portal functions as a front door that orchestrates various public services without changing the system that is already running in each agency. BPJS Health continues to operate its internal system, but the public will experience a more complete and faster service through Digital Population Identity (IKD). This is predicted to increase public satisfaction because access to health insurance can now be reached by more than 200 million users whose data has been integrated nationally in one hand.Through the INaku Citizen Portal, BPJS Health has the potential to expand membership coverage systematically while reducing the number of people who have not registered (exclusion). This integration is also a strategic channel for the government to provide more targeted health education directly to people's digital devices. The concrete impact is increasing more evenly distributed health insurance coverage, strengthening BPJS's position in a modern, transparent and accountable digital public service ecosystem amidst the acceleration of national digital transformation. The government is optimistic that this gradual integration will bring significant changes to the face of public services in the country, including for residents in the Karawang Regency area. With an all-digital process, residents no longer need to queue long or move agency offices just to ensure their family's health insurance rights are fulfilled. This step is clear evidence of the country's commitment to utilizing the latest technology to provide easier, more humane, faster and integrated access to basic services for all Indonesian people.
