Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, As a real form of community service, Group 1 Real Work Lecture (KKN) students at Buana Perjuangan University (UBP) Karawang under the guidance of Field Supervisor (DPL), Ir. Dicky Surya Pranatha, S.T., M.T., implemented a program entitled "Implementation of a Website as Media for Company Profile and Education on Waste in the Plered Village Community", Friday (24/07/2026). This activity was realized through the installation of educational boards on waste management in direct collaboration with RT Dusun 1 and Dusun 2 to increase residents' awareness of environmental cleanliness. The educational posters were installed at two strategic points, namely the Plered Village Office and the T-junction Post, so that the information presented could be easily accessed by all levels of society who were active around the location. The selection of these points was carefully designed so that the environmental cleanliness campaign message was able to reach residents from various circles effectively. This initiative to install wall coverings is an integral part of the development of the Plered Village website which was initiated by KKN Group 1 as a company profile tool as well as a digital education platform. Through synergy between visual and digital print media, information about village profiles and waste management can be disseminated more widely and sustainably to residents.
In the magazine, the public can see various educational posters regarding cleanliness management and waste sorting. All material is designed using concise language and attractive visuals so that it is easily understood by every citizen who passes by.The representative of KKN Group 1 UBP Karawang explained that the combination of the village website and physical wall magazine was deliberately presented to reach the community as a whole, including residents who are not yet accustomed to using gadgets. Close collaboration with local RT officials also ensures that this activity runs smoothly and receives full support from the surrounding community.Through this sustainable program, UBP Karawang KKN students hope that the Plered Village community will become more independent in maintaining environmental cleanliness in order to create a healthier village ecosystem. It is hoped that the village website and educational magazine that have been built will continue to function optimally as a center for information and promotion of village potential even though the KKN assignment period has ended.
