With its new status as Polresta, the top leadership in the Karawang jurisdiction will now be held by a middle-ranking officer with the rank of Police Commissioner (Kombes Pol). "This marks an increase in the authority and responsibility of the institution in maintaining security stability in an increasingly rapidly developing region."The Karawang Police received a new mandate, which is a historical milestone because of the increase in type from Polres to Polresta. Along with this transition, a leadership relay will also be carried out. The new Karawang Police Chief position will be filled by Police Commissioner.
