So this free LKS book program must be realized immediately," said the Regent of Karawang, Aep Syaepuloh, when giving a statement in Karawang, Friday. He emphasized that the program is planned to be launched in the next few weeks in line with the start of teaching and learning activities for the 2026/2027 academic year.As a concrete step, the Regent admitted that he had summoned the ranks of the Karawang Education and Culture Service (Disdikbud) to equalize perceptions and speed up the policy formulation process. The regional government assesses that the economic capacity of each parent and guardian of students certainly varies, especially for families who have to pay for more than one child's school fees plus expenses for uniforms.
