Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, The Karawang Regency Government (Pemkab) has officially re-opened an open selection process to fill the position of President Director (Dirut) of the Regional Company (PD) Petrogas Persada. The opening of the second stage of registration will take place from 6 to 18 May 2026.Chairman of the Selection Committee (Pansel), Asep Aang Rahmatullah, revealed that the steps to re-open this selection must be carried out because the number of participants who passed the previous stage did not meet the provisions of the legislation in force in the region.This selection refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs (Permendagri) Number 37 of 2018. This regulation strictly requires that there be a minimum of three to a maximum of five director candidates who must pass so that the selection stage can proceed to the next stage. "In the previous stage, only one candidate met the requirements, so the selection had to be reopened," said Asep Aang when giving a press statement in Karawang, Wednesday (6/5/2026).
He explained that this selection aims to attract professional figures who have high competence, integrity and rich experience in leading companies. Expertise in the energy sector, especially oil and gas (oil and gas), is a major added value for applicants.There are a number of main requirements that have been set by the selection committee, including having a minimum educational background of Bachelor's degree, having experience in the managerial field of at least five years, and applicants aged between 35 and 55 years.Apart from that, applicants are also required to understand company management and regional government. Prospective applicants must never have been involved in a criminal case and are guaranteed not to be active in the management of any political party.All selection stages are carried out strictly based on competency to obtain the best leadership figures.
