Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, In the midst of the heated candidacy market for the Chairman of the Karawang Regency Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), a strong warning emerged from within the organization regarding the legality of holding the Regency Conference (Muskab). Deputy Chairman of the Karawang KADIN Advisory Council, Ace Sudiar, chose to "pull the brakes" when some parties actually wanted to speed up the election process. He assessed that imposing Muskab in the near future without clear legal certainty has the potential to leave serious problems for the stability of the largest business organization in Karawang, Sunday (29/3/2026).The man who is familiarly called Kaka Ace highlighted the situation at the provincial level, where a lawsuit regarding the validity of the West Java KADIN management is still on the court. This condition is considered not just an ordinary dynamic, but a fundamental problem that has a direct impact on the legitimacy of the underlying structure. According to him, the implementation of Muskab in the regions must be based on a solid legal footing so that the resulting organizational products are not easily questioned in the future by the parties to the dispute.
For Ace, Muskab is not just a five-year ceremonial agenda, but a strategic forum that determines the leadership direction and position of KADIN in the regional economic ecosystem. He reminded that all stages should not be built on a fragile foundation, considering that dualism in management still looms large. If the basis of management at the top level is still disputed, then the legitimacy of the executive committee and the results of the election of a new chairman at the district level are at risk of being considered flawed in terms of the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART).On the other hand, Ace believes that the euphoria about candidacy which is starting to heat up is normal, but should not obscure Karawang's main need for the right leader. Karawang needs a KADIN captain who is able to synergize tactically with the regional government and the business world, especially in facing increasingly complex global economic challenges. The internal conflict resulting from Muskab's imposition will only weaken the organization's bargaining position as the government's strategic partner in encouraging economic growth in this industrial hub area.At the end of his statement, Ace Sudiar hopes that the ongoing legal process at the West Java level will soon reach a clear point to end the prolonged dualism polemic. It is hoped that the court's decision will be a permanent solution so that the polemic does not spread and damage organizational stability at the district/city level. With clear legitimacy, it is hoped that KADIN Karawang can move forward on a strong footing - not just electing a new leader, but ensuring that the stability and prestige of the organization is maintained for the benefit of the business world.
