Seputarkarawang.com - Karawang, Commission I DPRD Karawang Regency conducted a review and monitoring of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga on Wednesday (29/4/2026) afternoon. This field visit was the council's quick response to public complaints regarding the safety and security of residents around the Cikampek Oil Fuel Terminal (TBBM), West Dawuan Village.This monitoring activity was led directly by the Deputy Chair of Commission I of the Karawang DPRD, Lili Mahali, along with a number of other legislative members. The council group inspected the operational area and had an open dialogue with company management regarding security systems, risk mitigation and environmental safety around the TBBM area.Lili Mahali emphasized that this supervision was a form of Karawang DPRD's commitment to accommodating the aspirations of the community. "This monitoring is to ensure that the company's operational activities continue to prioritize the safety of the community around the TBBM area," said Lili in Karawang.
Furthermore, Lili believes that PT Pertamina Patra Niaga needs to strengthen communication and coordination with the surrounding community.
